The cost of conflict at work often translates into lost productivity, increased staff turnover and failed project goals. When left unchecked, it can also damage the overall culture of the organization. Leaders need to understand the dynamics of conflict and how to manage conflict within various business relationships to ensure that the business meets set objectives and fulfills its true potential. It’s no wonder then, that managing conflict effectively is one of the most critical leadership competencies.
This 1- day development workshop approaches conflict management from a leadership perspective and is aimed at middle to senior managers. Participants will learn about the dynamics of conflict and how to manage conflict within their various work teams. They will assess their own conflict methods as well as recognize the conflict styles used by members of their team. Participants will also learn important conflict management skills required to effectively lead their teams towards healthy communication and greater productivity.
